Weitering copped a knee to the back of the head from high-flying North forward Zane Duursma in a marking contest.<\/p>\n
The Blues fullback fell to the turf instantly and remained motionless for quite some time as medical staff rushed to his side.<\/p>\n
After a lengthy delay he was able to get back to his feet and walk from the ground with blood flowing from the back of his head.<\/p>\n
It was later revealed he had failed a concussion test, meaning he won\u2019t be playing next weekend at Gather Round against the Adelaide Crows on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Without their stalwart holding down the defensive structure, the Blues fell apart when the game was up for grabs.<\/p>\n
After Brodie Kemp kicked a goal, the Blues lead sat at 21-points after 12 minutes of play in the final term.<\/p>\n
That was their final goal for the match as North completely flipped the script and took control of the contest.<\/p>\n
Cooper Trembath, Cameron Zurhaar and Paul Curtis all kicked goals before Harry Sheezel put North in front after 29 minutes.<\/p>\n
The Blues attempted one final foray but couldn\u2019t capitalise with North going the length of the ground to seal it with a Jy Simpkin goal to push them to 3-1 on the season.<\/p>\n

The loss sinks the Blues to 1-3 and will only further amplify the pressure on coach Michael Voss\u2019 position.<\/p>\n
Fans turned on Voss following the club\u2019s capitulation last weekend against Melbourne and it was more of the same on Friday.<\/p>\n
Journalist Mark Gottlieb wrote on X: \u201cSorry Vossy, I reckon that\u2019s it mate. You can\u2019t still be coach of Carlton next week.\u201d<\/p>\n
Matt Nicholls added: \u201cI just hope Carlton sack Voss tonight and don\u2019t make him stew over it all Easter.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Blues will return to action on Thursday night when they venture into Adelaide to open Gather Round against the Crows.<\/p>\n
