NASA has shared some stunning images taken on Personal Computing Devices by the Artemis II crew, as they head on their trip around the Moon.<\/p>\n
The first image, titled \u201cHello, World\u201d, showed earth glowing from the Orion spacecraft\u2019s window.<\/p>\n
Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman took the picture after the crew completed the translunar injection burn on Friday.<\/p>\n
The Earth appears to be seen upside down, with Africa and the Iberian Peninsula seen to the left and the edge of eastern South America seen on the right.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are two auroras (top right and bottom left) and zodiacal light (bottom right) is visible as the Earth eclipses the Sun,\u201d a NASA statement read.<\/p>\n

NASA also took to X and compared pictures of Earth from Apollo 17 in 1971 to now.<\/p>\n
“We’ve come so far in the last 54 years, but one thing hasn’t changed: our home looks gorgeous from space!” the post read.<\/p>\n
The four astronauts plan to travel more than 321,900km to the Moon.<\/p>\n
The crew is expected to pass around the far side of the Moon on April 6.<\/p>\n
While their return to Earth is forecast for April 10.<\/p>\n
