Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight Brett Johns submitted Levan Kirtadze in under three minutes with a Suloev stretch<\/a> last night (Sat., Aug. 10, 2025) in the main event of Way of the Warrior (WOW) 21, which took place inside Auditorio Marbella in Marbella, Spain.<\/p>\n

For the opening minute and a half, Kirtadze held the edge, outstriking Johns on the feet and in the clinch. At the 2:44 mark, Johns executed a nice hip throw, landing in half guard, and took full control from there.<\/p>\n

Johns unleashed ground-and-pound, swiftly transitioned to Kirtadze\u2019s back, and secured the rare Suloev stretch, forcing the tap.<\/p>\n

Returning after a year-long hiatus, Johns (21-5) snapped a two-fight skid with this victory. The Welsh fighter had previously dropped consecutive bouts in the 2024 PFL season, leading to his release.<\/p>\n

\u201cPikey\u201d competed seven times in the UFC before exploring free agency, later signing with Bellator<\/a>, where he posted a 2-1 record before joining the PFL.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old has his sights set on the WOW FC Featherweight title, which would mark his third MMA championship, alongside Cage Warriors and Titan FC. Could a second UFC stint be on the horizon?<\/p>\n

Kirtadze (13-6), meanwhile, has now lost two consecutive fights and four of his last five.<\/p>\n
