While there are many iconic aspects of The Masters<\/a>, one of the most popular has been the menu at The Masters Champions Dinner. <\/p>\n

Back in 1952, the legendary Ben Hogan had the idea of bringing all past Masters champions together for a meal before the tournament each year. But the most fascinating aspect of this dinner is that the menu is selected by the previous year’s Masters champion, which means that Rory McIlroy is in charge<\/a> of 2026’s menu. <\/p>\n

McIlroy’s menu was released on March 19. For appetizers, it includes a peach & ricotta flatbread (with balsamic, hot honey, and basil), rock shrimp tempura (with creamy spicy sauce), bacon-wrapped dates (with goat cheese and almonds), and grilled elk sliders (with caramelized onion jam and roasted garlic aioli). <\/p>\n

The first course will be yellowfin tuna carpaccio with foie gras, toasted baguette, and chives. And the main course options are wagyu filet mignon or seared salmon (with traditional Irish champ, saut\u00e9ed brussels sprouts, glazed carrots with brown butter, and crispy Vidalia onion rings. <\/p>\n

The dessert is sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and warm toffee sauce. There are also several wine options available to the past champions.<\/p>\n

Masters Menu Rood Review Sparks Telling Rory McIlroy Reaction<\/p>\n

Golf fans love to discuss and criticize the menu choices that champions make each year. However, popular food influencer Jack Mancuso (@chefcuso) took things a step further when he made McIlroy’s entire Masters menu on April 2. <\/p>\n

Mancuso’s Instagram post was captioned, “Rory\u2019s Masters Champions Dinner Menu \u26f3\ufe0f\ud83e\udd69\ud83c\udf64 Officially one week out \ud83e\udee1,” and showed him making all of the dishes. <\/p>\n

After showing the process of cooking everything, Mancuso got to the review. He was especially impressed with the bacon-wrapped dates, and said that he “absolutely loved” the peach & ricotta flatbread. <\/p>\n

Mancuso then cooked and tried the first course and the main course options and gave glowing reviews about everything. He concluded by saying, “Congratulations, Rory. This is an insanely good dinner,” then joked about how he couldn’t try the wines because they are so expensive. <\/p>\n

This review caught McIlroy’s attention<\/a>. This was made clear by him reposting it to his Instagram story on April 2 and adding the \ud83e\udd24 emoji, which shows that he’s looking forward to sampling this menu himself. <\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see whether McIlroy or any of the other former champions speaks about the food during or after their dinner on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
