The Edmonton Oilers<\/a> will be without forward Zach Hyman<\/a> for Saturday’s clash with the Vegas Golden Knights (8 p.m. MT \/ 10 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+).<\/p>\n

Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters that Hyman will miss the contest with an undisclosed injury, but added that the winger would be in the lineup if it were a playoff game.<\/p>\n

Additionally, star centre Leon Draisaitl<\/a> is expected to resume skating in the coming days, but won’t travel with the team for its final road trip of the regular season.<\/p>\n

Hyman, 33, has 31 goals and 20 assists in 57 games for Edmonton this season.<\/p>\n

He played 16:40 in the Oilers’ 3-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Draisaitl’s return to the ice is a good sign for Edmonton as it gears up for the post-season.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old has been out since March 15 with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n

Draisaitl had 35 goals and 62 assists in 65 games before hitting the injured reserve.<\/p>\n

Edmonton enters Saturday’s contest against Vegas tied with the Anaheim Ducks atop the Pacific Division.
