Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a> recently made a surprise appearance in an exhibition
\nboxing match in his home country.<\/p>\n

Video has surfaced of the former
\nUFC<\/a> two-division champion competing in a three-round bout at
\nthe Crumlin Boxing Club in Dublin, Ireland, on Friday. In the
\nvideos, McGregor enjoys success in exchanges, forcing a pair of
\nstanding eight counts during the match.<\/p>\n

Getting in Some Rounds
\n<\/p>\n

McGregor\u2019s latest activity is sure to spark further speculation
\nthat his return to action could be imminent. The \u201cNotorious\u201d hasn\u2019t
\ncompeted since breaking his leg in a loss to Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> at UFC 264 in July 2021. A scheduled return against
\nfellow \u201cThe Ultimate Fighter 31\u201d coach Michael
\nChandler<\/a> at UFC 303 fell through when McGregor pulled out on
\nthe week of the fight due to a broken toe.<\/p>\n

More recently, McGregor lobbied hard to be on the
\nUFC<\/a> card \u2014 at one point claiming his participation was a \u201cdone
\ndeal.\u201d However, when the event was announced, McGregor was not part
\nof the lineup. There have been rumors that he will make a comeback
\nin July as part of the UFC\u2019s International Fight Week.<\/p>\n

During last week\u2019s post-fight press conference at
\nUFC Seattle<\/a>, Dana White did confirm that he was \u201cconfident\u201d
\nthat the Irish star would indeed fight again. However, he was
\nunable to confirm that McGregor would return in July.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing\u2019s done. Nothing\u2019s even remotely close to being done. Yes
\n[we\u2019d like him to fight in July],\u201d White said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was pretty optimistic at the end of last year [that McGregor
\nwould fight again.\u201cEnd of last year, going into this year, I\u2019m
