Though there have been some good guesses, no-one is quite sure what Matt Reeves\u2019 \u201cThe Batman \u2013 Part II\u201d is about.<\/p>\n

The most revealing stuff so far has been the casting choices with Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent, Scarlett Johansson in a role believed to be Harvey\u2019s wife Gilda, and the revolving door of actors for the role of Harvey\u2019s father Christopher Dent.<\/p>\n

That has all led to various bits of speculation. Some think an adaptation of \u201cThe Long Halloween\u201d comic, others think we\u2019re getting a live-action take on the acclaimed animated \u201cMask of the Phantasm\u201d film.<\/p>\n

Then the other day came the news that the film will be going by the working title of \u2018Semper Vigilans\u2019 \u2013 latin for \u2018Always Vigilant\u2019 \u2013 which has reignited earlier rumours of the involvement of the Court of Owls.<\/p>\n

Now actor Robert Pattinson, in a recent sitdown interview with Filme Gitmeden \u00d6nce<\/a> to promote \u201cThe Drama\u201d in cinemas this weekend, teased that people should expect something unique:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe script is so good. It\u2019s kinda crazy, because the first one was a little bit of a different type of Batman movie, and this is a really different type of Batman movie. Hopefully, people will be really pleasantly surprised by it.\u201d<\/p>\n

That has already led to new speculation that the project could be a take on Grant Morrison\u2019s acclaimed \u201cArkham Asylum\u201d comic run. Shooting on the project is expected to get underway in late May in the UK with Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis and Paul Dano all reportedly returning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Screenshot: Warner Bros.
