Marzhew takes out Weekes’ legs as he goes up for a kick and Canberra get easy passage out of their own end.<\/p>\n
They punch around the ruck alright and get into the red zone but on the last Sanders kick has way too much on it and goes dead.<\/p>\n

Oh, that was very nice. Not much on as Strange takes it up around halfway but he breaks straight through, Sasagi is in support to score a very handy try.<\/p>\n
Nice stuff from Strange, who’s had a slow start to the year. Sanders converts and it’s 6-0 Raiders.<\/p>\n

Savage goes up against Hunt, he loses the ball, Martin picks it up and puts it down but the ref says there’s a Raiders knock on in there. Hard to see on replay, Canberra decline to challenge then give away a penalty off the scrum.<\/p>\n

Marzhew juggles a bomb then busts straight through, he’s away downfield. Weekes drags him down but the Knights are on the attack. A set restart helps them build pressure and they strip Canberra for numbers down the right, Best beats one but he throws it forward as he tries to find Marzhew. Raiders escape again.<\/p>\n

The suspected injury for Ramien is a high-grade MCL. He’ll go for scans but if that’s confirmed it could be a lengthy stint on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

Tuivasa-Sheck drops a swirling Hynes bomb and the Sharks have a chance to kill this game off.<\/p>\n
They spread it right and strip the Warriors for numbers, Talakai bumps off Tuivasa-Sheck and Pompey and powers over to score and wrap things up.<\/p>\n
Still 15 to go but almost impossible to think of the visitors winning it from here – especially after Hynes converts and puts the Sharks out to 36-16.<\/p>\n

Wilton gets Watene-Zelezniak high and the Warriors get an easy passage over halfway.<\/p>\n
On the last, Burns tackles Vaimauga off the ball and the Warriors now have a fresh set in the attacking 20.<\/p>\n
Healey goes for the line from dummy half but the ball squeezes out and Cronulla hold on.<\/p>\n

Hynes nearly pulls through from close range and on the next play Brailey pokes a lovely kick through for Wilton to go over.<\/p>\n
Clever stuff from the dummy half as the Warriors pay the price for their errors again, you give a team like the Sharks that many chances and you’ll pay.<\/p>\n
Hynes converts and the lead is back out to 14, Cronulla are up 30-16.<\/p>\n

Halasima plays the ball without a dummy half, Ramien dives on it and Cronulla are on the attack.<\/p>\n
Trindall puts a kick in for himself, there’s no fullback at home and on the chase he goes down. We go upstairs – there’s no interference, Trindall just tripped of his own accord. Warriors drop out.<\/p>\n
But Trindall gets hit in a good tackle to force an error. Metcalf takes off, he’s tackled around the 40 and the Warriors look to take advantage only for Boyd to knock on. Sharks on the attack again \\.<\/p>\n

A penalty and a set restart gets the Warriors on the attack straight away, Boyd takes them right and Tuapiki puts DWZ over for his third!<\/p>\n
Another excellent finish for the winger and it keeps the Warriors in touch.<\/p>\n
Boyd nails the kick from touch and it’s back to 24-16 Sharks.<\/p>\n
