TAMPA, Fla. \u2013 Senior Lennox London<\/a> scored her 100th career try, extending her program record for career tries, and Harvard University women’s rugby’s elite team won the plate final at Tropical 7s on day two on Saturday at the Tournament SportsPlex of Tampa.

\nHarvard’s elite team notched a pair of wins in its last two games to finish its time as the event, winning the plate final to cap off a 4-2 weekend. The Crimson’s open team posted a 3-0 record on the day, also closing the weekend with a 4-2 mark across the two-day event.

\nLondon became the first student-athlete in program history to score 100 career tries, crossing the century mark in the team’s 34-0 win over Penn State in the plate semifinals \u2013 a game in which she totaled five tries. For the weekend, she posted six tries.

\nBoth teams totaled 25 tries across the two days. London and Cameron Fields<\/a> led the elite team with six tries apiece while Morgan Gibson<\/a> (seven tries) and Evie Eyers<\/a> (six tries) paced the open side in try scoring.\u00a0

\n\tLennox London<\/a> became the first student-athlete in program history to score 100 career tries, crossing the century mark in the team’s 34-0 win over Penn State in the plate semifinals. She continued to extend her program record for career tries.
\n\tThe Crimson’s elite team went 2-1 on both days of the tournament, finishing the event with a 4-2 record.
\n\tAs a team, Harvard dropped a 19-7 battle to Brown in the quarterfinals before topping Penn State in the plate semifinals (34-0) and the Canadian Misfits (19-5) in the plate final for fifth place.
\n\tAcross the two-day event the Crimson’s elite team tallied 25 tries with Cameron Fields<\/a> and London each leading the way with six tries apiece. Madelyn Hubbell<\/a>, Sana’a Lunon<\/a>, and Josephine Mignone<\/a> each posted three tries while Skylar Jordan<\/a> notched two tries. Gemma Ogoke<\/a> and Victoria Stanley<\/a> each registered one try.
\n\tOn Saturday, London paced Harvard with five tries while Hubbell tallied two tries. Fields, Lunon, and Mignone each scored a try as the Crimson totaled 10 tries on the day.
\n\tIn the quarterfinals, Harvard battled Brown before falling, 19-7. Fields scored the game’s opening try alongside a conversion from Jordan before the Bears tied the score at 7-7 at the half. Brown tallied two tries in the second half to take the decision.
\n\tMoving to the plate semifinals, London led the Crimson with five tries in a 34-0 victory over Penn State. London scored twice in the first half before notching three tries in the second half. Hubbell also contributed a try in the second half.
\n\tIn the plate final, Lunon and Mignone each scored tries in the first half before Hubbell closed the scoring with a try in the second half as Harvard topped the Canadian Misfits to take fifth place.

\n\tThe Crimson’s open side went 3-0 on Saturday, finishing the weekend with a 4-2 record.
\n\tOn day two, Harvard’s open team registered wins over Lander (31-7), Clemson (33-5), and UNC Wilmington (57-0).
\n\tFor the tournament, Morgan Gibson<\/a> led the open team with seven tries while Evie Eyers<\/a> followed with six tries. Sabine Fuchs<\/a> (four tries), Courtney Taylor<\/a> (three tries), and Ava Giguere<\/a> (two tries) also added multiple tries. Nellie Fitzpatrick<\/a>, Mikayla Lord<\/a>, and Neasa McLaughlin<\/a> each posted one try apiece as the open side totaled 25 tries on the weekend.
\n\tOn Saturday alone, Gibson notched five tries while Eyers and Fuchs each posted four tries. Giguere (two), Taylor (two), Lord (one), and McLaughlin (one) rounded out the open side’s 19 tries on the day.
\n\tOpening the day against Lander University, Harvard posted a 31-7 win, outscoring Lander 26-0 in the second half. Gibson and Eyers each posted two tries in the contest while Fuchs added a try.
\n\tThe Crimson notched a 33-5 win over Clemson in game two behind two tries from Fuchs and one try each from Eyers, Gibson, and Lord.
\n\tHarvard’s open side closed its time at the event with a 57-0 win over UNC Wilmington, Gibson, Giguere, and Taylor all posted two tries in the game while Fuchs, Eyers, and McLaughlin each added one try.

\n\tThe Crimson posted a 2-1 record on the day, notching shutout wins over Army West Point (31-0) and Penn State (52-0) before dropping a narrow 24-12 decision to Trinity Western.
\n\tCameron Fields<\/a> led the Crimson with five tries on the day while Skylar Jordan<\/a>, Sana’a Lunon<\/a>, and Josephine Mignone<\/a> each tallied two tries apiece. Madelyn Hubbell<\/a>, Lennox London<\/a>, Gemma Ogoke<\/a>, and Victoria Stanley<\/a> each added one try.
\n\tIn its opening matchup with Army, Jordan, Lunon, and Stanley all scored tries in the first half as Harvard jumped out to a 17-0 lead. Mignone and Ogoke registered tries in the second half to complete the 31-0 win.
\n\tIn game two against Penn State, the Crimson claimed a 26-0 lead at halftime behind a trio of tries from Fields alongside a try from London. Tries from Hubbell, Jordan, Mignone, and Lunon rounded out the scoring in the second half.
\n\tIn a tight matchup with Trinity Western, back-to-back tries from Fields brought Harvard within 19-12 before Trinity Western held on for the victory.

\n\tFor the open team, Evie Eyers<\/a> and Morgan Gibson<\/a> each recorded two tries while Nellie Fitzpatrick<\/a> and Courtney Taylor<\/a> each contributed one try.
\n\tThe Crimson posted a 1-2 record on the day with a victory over Kennesaw State (33-0) alongside setbacks to SARC Sharks (15-5) and the Canadian Misfits (43-0).
\n\tIn the team’s opener against SARC, Taylor scored the first half’s only try to stake Harvard to a 5-0 lead before the Sharks tallied three tries in the second half.
\n\tThe Crimson earned a shutout win against Kennesaw State in its second game with Gibson and Eyers each scoring two tries before Fitzpatrick tallied the contest’s final try. Eyers added four conversions in the game.\u00a0
