The crab then latched onto Haynes\u2019 finger and bit her which required hospitalisation for treatment.<\/a><\/p>\nOn Monday, she revealed on-air to co-hosts Lizzie Pearl and Michael Atkinson that she had enacted her revenge, claiming to have the same crab that bit her finger, now on her plate.<\/p>\n
\u201cJustice is being served this morning, Australia,\u201d Haynes said from the Sydney Royal Easter Show.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d like to introduce to you my breakfast, if not my revenge, do you recognise this bad boy in front of me? Because I definitely do.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are being reunited under very different circumstances this morning \u2026 it had a great crack at me the other day, so I thought I\u2019d have the last fight.\u201d<\/p>\n
Haynes went on to thank Today show viewers for the supportive messages she received over the long weekend regarding her nasty bite.<\/p>\n
Co-host Atkinson told Haynes she is an absolute trooper.<\/p>\n
\u201cHell hath no fury like a woman bitten by a crab,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n
Viewers were left divided over whether the act of “revenge” was appropriate, and if the crab was actually the same as the one which bit her finger days earlier.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou antagonise an animal you get bitten, not sure what all the fuss is about. Should be a lesson learnt,\u201d one said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope that\u2019s not the actual crab! What did she think was going to happen. It\u2019s one thing to eat seafood, I love my seafood but to see it alive, hold it, then it be dead on her plate after being cooked is another!!!\u201d another added.<\/p>\n
\u201cHahaha that\u2019s not even the same crab. What a lie,\u201d a third said.<\/p>\n
While a fourth backed Haynes’ move: \u201cWow, wonderful to see you clawed your way back to victory over the crab in the end.
