THIS MATERIAL MAY NOT BE PUBLISHED, BROADCAST, REWRITTEN OR REDISTRIBUTED.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                    &#13;<\/p>\n<p>VICTORIA, Texas -Amid a busy spring sports season across the Crossroads, the Victoria West High School tennis team is making its mark with a strong showing at the District 22-5A tournament.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"266\" data-end=\"498\">Leading the way was Taneesha Devi, who captured the district championship in girls singles. With the first-place finish, Devi advances to the regional tournament, continuing an impressive season on the court.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"719\">Victoria West also saw success in doubles competition. The boys doubles team of Karan Chand and Zane Ramirez secured a second-place finish, earning a spot at regionals.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"873\">In mixed doubles, Merrin Heinold and John Mullin added to the team\u2019s success with a third-place finish.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"1034\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">With three podium finishes at the district meet, Victoria West continues to showcase the depth of talent in its tennis program as the postseason gets underway.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Got a news tip or story idea?
