Dave Hughes<\/a> has shared a predicament on social media, having become trapped on a Melbourne street due to an unforeseen obstacle.<\/p>\n

The 55-year-old<\/a> A\ufeffussie comedian<\/a>shared a video on Instagram of himself standing on a road with parked cars on either side, holding a coffee cup.<\/p>\n

“This is a dead-end street and that’s all very well,” he said before panning to the road, where a white car was parked right in \ufeffthe middle.<\/p>\n

“That’s not good… we wanna go home,” he said comically.<\/p>\n

Overlaying the video he wrote, “How long do I wait before we call the c\ufeffops?”<\/p>\n

In his caption, he added, “You can’t just leave your car in the middle of the road, even on a public holiday. It’s been at least 20 minutes already.”<\/p>\n

“How the hell do these people pass their drivers license test, he’s blocking other drivers from getting through, therefore I’d call the police and they should teach them a lesson \ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\ude4c” one of Hughes’ Instagram commenters said.<\/p>\n

“So inconsiderate – we always have people park across our back gate driveway, have called police and they can’t do anything,” another added.<\/p>\n

One suggested a creative solution: “I’d use cheap lipsticks to write a note on the window.”<\/p>\n

“There’s enough room to get out,” one commenter said, though they added, “You’ve probably got every sensor beeping when you start it up.”<\/p>\n

“This is not the Australian way!!!” one fan exclaimed, while another deemed it “un-Australian”.<\/p>\n

It comes soon after he revealed he was forced to stop a live stand-up show in Queensland after being heckled by an outraged female audience member.<\/p>\n

The Aussie comedian shared a video from the moment on Instagram and said he was shocked as it was the \ufeff”first time 33 years” that someone had tried to “censor his act”.<\/p>\n

Hughes explained he was paying out his son during a funny and lighthearted moment on-stage in Noosa when it rubbed the woman the wrong way.\ufeff\ufeff<\/p>\n

“Think it was about 20 minutes in, show was going great, she stood up, yelled ‘Stop’, then turned to face audience and said that I must not ever make fun of my son on stage.<\/p>\n

“I tried explaining to her that he gives me a hard time too, and we mock each other constantly, and it’s all love and I’m proud of him, but she wasn’t having it.”<\/p>\n

The comedian said the woman was a carer and she stormed out, with the person being cared for having to leave with her.<\/p>\n

“She ended up leaving. I found out after the show that she was there as a carer for another bloke, so she probably had no idea what my act was,” he said.<\/p>\n

Hughes also offered the man being cared for a refund for his tickets.\ufeff<\/p>\n

“If I’d known that while on stage, I would have told him to stay and that I would give him a lift home in my hire car,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

“I’m happy to give him a refund or free tix to another show if he sees this! #cooked.”<\/p>\n
