Pro D2 side, CA Brive, have announced the upcoming departure of former international Courtney Lawes, who is now expected to return to England after two years spent in Corr\u00e8ze.<\/p>\n
The 37-year-old will exit the club at the end of the season, having arrived from Northampton Saints in 2024, where he had spent 17 years of his professional career.<\/p>\n
A statement from the club read: \u201cCAB would have liked Courtney Lawes to finish his career in Brive but understands his desire to seize the opportunity of a new challenge in his native country and wishes him every success in this new adventure in England.<\/p>\n

They have recently confirmed the signing of his former international teammate Mako Vunipola from fellow Pro D2 club Vannes, so to call upon Lawes\u2019 services wouldn\u2019t be a far-fetched proposition.<\/p>\n Lawes reflected on his time in France<\/a>, saying: \u201cI\u2019m having an experience in Brive that I\u2019ll never forget, both on and off the pitch.
