{"id":590167,"date":"2026-04-07T00:24:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T00:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/590167\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T00:24:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T00:24:08","slug":"indiana-mens-basketball-forward-josh-harris-to-enter-transfer-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/590167\/","title":{"rendered":"Indiana men\u2019s basketball forward Josh Harris to enter transfer portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Indiana men\u2019s basketball sophomore forward Josh Harris will enter the transfer portal, per\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TravisBranham_\/status\/2041264531771420751\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">247Sports\u2019 Travis Branham<\/a>.\u00a0Harris was sidelined with\u00a0a lower body injury that kept him from playing this\u00a0past season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Harris transferred to Indiana from the University of North Florida last spring alongside\u00a0junior guard\u00a0Jasai Miles, who will also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.idsnews.com\/article\/2026\/04\/indiana-mens-basketball-jasai-miles-transfer-portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">transfer<\/a>\u00a0following just one season\u00a0with the Hoosiers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a\u00a0freshman\u00a0at North Florida, Harris\u00a0started\u00a030 games and\u00a0averaged\u00a013.4 points per game while shooting 55.7% from the field. The 6-foot-8 forward also added 7.1 rebounds per contest.
