The nearest full-time competitor is Ben Bargwanna, at 35 points back.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/full-tilt-colin-bond-autobiography-book?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Colin-Bond-Full-Tilt_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anyhow, Herne will look to keep the momentum flowing as he races on the ITM Taup\u014d Super440 support card in TA2 NZ.<\/p>\n<p>Herne will race a Dodge Challenger there \u2013 the same model he famously used to soar to the 2021 Aussie Trans Am crown.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Cheney is also in the 16-strong TA2 NZ field for Taup\u014d, where Caleb Byers and Dylan Grant are set to duke it out for the inaugural title.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Russell-Ingall-207A7477-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-253239\"  \/>Russell Ingall (right) assisted Nathan Herne Racing at Bathurst.
