Another season of Married at First Sight is blessedly coming to a close this week, and after months of drama, Dinner Party meltdowns, and rollercoaster relationships, we\u2019re not too proud to admit that we\u2019re looking forward to finally getting our lives back. But as we careen towards the final vows and the inevitable news stories to emerge once the season officially wraps, there\u2019s one thing firmly on our minds: which MAFS 2026 couples are still together?<\/a> <\/p>\n

Specifically, we\u2019re all wondering whether Alissa and David have made it out of the experiment together, and whether they\u2019re still together now that filming has wrapped. Ahead of the final Dinner Party on April 6, it seemed the pair might be over after handing back their wedding rings following a big fight. But then, David shocked everyone when he got down on one knee and proposed to Alissa (again), in an apparent callback to their rocky wedding day. <\/p>\n

\u201cI want you to know how much you mean to me,\u201d he told his wife during the cocktail party, eliciting gasps and shock from their fellow MAFS contestants. When speaking to nine.com.au<\/a> later, he explained why he felt compelled to make such a big move. \u201cFor me, I was just saying, \u2018Last time you asked me to do it to prove how I felt, and this time I\u2019m just going to do it voluntarily to prove that I\u2019m here for the right reasons\u2019,\u201d David said. \u201cFrom my perspective, I started to make excuses and think maybe she needed reassurance, so I did get down on my knee again just to give her that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Alissa\u2019s response wasn\u2019t the emphatic yes he had hoped for, simply saying \u201cthank you\u201d. Cue shock and face palms from the experts. Looking back now, David admits that he can see that Alissa was already checked out of the relationship. \u201cAt that dinner party, I got no empathy. That was probably the hardest night for me in the experiment, and that\u2019s when I got my full answer as to where things were heading,\u201d he told the publication. \u201cThat Dinner Party showed me exactly what I was dealing with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alissa and David are reportedly not together. According to an insider who spoke to Women\u2019s Day<\/a>, Alissa has reportedly moved on with Ninja Warrior contestant Nathan Ryles. She\u2019s besotted with him,\u201d a source told the publication. \u201cShe\u2019s even calling him her soulmate.
