A Barcelona soccer star has gone viral after fans joked he mistook a cameraman\u2019s bald head for a football.<\/p>\n
Spanish midfielder Pedri, 23, went searching for a ball in the 70th minute of Sunday\u2019s match with his side locked level at 1-1 with Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n
He initially threw his arms up and jesticulated at the absence of a ball anywhere around him, but it was what happened next that caught the attention of the viewers.<\/p>\n
Pedri turned and walked towards a bald cameraman who was situated behind the advertising hoardings.<\/p>\n
Then, when he reached the individual, he turned back away and appeared confused, while the cameraman pointed towards the corner flag.<\/p>\n
Cruel fans were quick to troll the superstar on social media after the \u201chairless\u201d blunder went viral and has been watched 1.9 million times.<\/p>\n
One posted: \u201cPedri mistook the bald guy for a ball.\u201d<\/p>\n
A second wrote: \u201cI can\u2019t believe it. It looks like something out of Looney Tunes.\u201d<\/p>\n
A third commented: \u201cFrom this moment on, FIFA requires bald people to wear a cap or wig.\u201d<\/p>\n
A fourth said: \u201cWhat a perfect video.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another added: \u201cI\u2019m in tears, he\u2019s about to grab his head to take a corner.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barcelona went on to win the game 2-1 thanks to a late Robert Lewandowski winner \u2014 a result which moves the Catalan giants seven points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the LaLiga table.<\/p>\n
Barcelona will face Atletico again this week in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.<\/p>\n
Speaking after Sunday\u2019s win, Barca head coach Hansi Flick said: \u201cThe Champions League will be totally different.<\/p>\n
