Delicious Orie, the former Olympic and Commonwealth boxing medallist, has joined Attivo as he transitions into a new career in financial planning.<\/p>\n
The two-time Team GB heavyweight champion, who won gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2023 European Games, has joined Attivo\u2019s Financial Planning Academy. <\/p>\n
He will combine practical experience at the firm\u2019s Cheltenham headquarters with continued study towards advanced financial planning qualifications.<\/p>\n
Orie already holds a first-class degree in economics from Aston University and has achieved his Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS). <\/p>\n
He is now working towards his Level 6 Advanced Diploma, with the aim of becoming a fully qualified financial planner by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
In the longer term, he has ambitions to use his platform to promote financial education among younger audiences, combining his sporting profile with a focus on improving financial awareness.<\/p>\n
Orie said: \u201cThe opportunity to become a professional athlete was something that I just simply could not turn down, and it enabled me to have eight great years of travelling around the world and working with people from every background imaginable. <\/p>\n
