Eddie Hall knows he only needs Tommy Fury to make one mistake to end him.<\/p>\n

On June 13 at AO Arena in Manchester, England, Hall and Fury meet in a boxing match billed as \u201cBeauty vs. The Beast.\u201d Hall is best known for his incredible muscleman exploits, including winning the World\u2019s Strongest Man competition in 2017, while Tommy is part of the famous Fury boxing family and also gained notoriety on the reality television show Love Island.<\/p>\n

Suffice to say, it\u2019s a perfect fit for Misfits Boxing to promote, and Hall is doing his part to sell that he has a chance to defeat Fury, undefeated in 11 pro bouts.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, Tommy\u2019s got all the experience here,\u201d Hall said at a press conference<\/a> Tuesday. \u201cHe\u2019s got the better IQ, he\u2019s got the better footwork, he\u2019s got the better speed, he\u2019s got the better cardio, he\u2019s got everything in terms of advantages. He\u2019s been boxing since he was five years old.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll I can say is my plan is to land that big shot. And whether that comes in the first round or the sixth round, I\u2019m not going to be an idiot and come out all guns blazing, but I\u2019ll be ready. I\u2019ll be ready for when that shot appears and I\u2019ll take it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hall, 38, has only boxed once in his combat sports career, losing a decision to Hafthor \u201cThor\u201d Bjornsson\u2014a.k.a. \u201cThe Mountain\u201d from the television series Game of Thrones\u2014in March 2022. However, Hall found success in his most recent fight competing under MMA rules, defeating Polish national hero and fellow strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105 last April, and can also claim a win from a wild two vs. one contest<\/a> in which he threw his opposition around the cage.<\/p>\n

None of that means much to Fury, who expects his technique to win out in the end.<\/p>\n

\u201cEddie\u2019s got muscles all over his body, but you can\u2019t put muscles on chins and that\u2019s what I\u2019m about to expose,\u201d Fury said. \u201cListen, we\u2019ve seen good big men in the ring all the time, but what\u2019s different? Muscles can\u2019t get on the chin and I\u2019m looking to find that chin, so we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, everyone\u2019s got a fighter\u2019s chance of knocking the bigger man out, but it\u2019s not happening,\u201d Hall said.<\/p>\n

Fury has competed sporadically since making his pro debut in 2018, with his most notable wins coming against influencer boxers Jake Paul and KSI. He became the first fighter to defeat Paul when he won a split decision in their February 2023 contest.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old is the half-brother of heavyweight star Tyson Fury and given the rounds they\u2019ve sparred, Fury isn\u2019t worried about going toe-to-toe with the 300-plus-pound Hall.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people are going on about size in this fight, which there is, there is a significant size difference,\u201d Fury said. \u201cBut I have grew up with heavyweights my entire life. My brother\u2019s the two-time heavyweight champion of the world. Seven-foot, 20 stone. I\u2019ve been brought around him and all my other brothers. So size makes no difference to me.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike I said before, can\u2019t put the muscles on the chins, and I\u2019m super fit now and I\u2019ve got nine weeks to go. I\u2019ve been doing half marathons, I am supremely, supremely fit and I\u2019ll be ready to dance around that ring and seek and destroy for however long that fight lasts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later asked if he thinks Fury is being honest about his assessment of the fight, Hall continued to state his plan to leave Fury flat on the canvas.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that he believes it,\u201d Hall said. \u201cI\u2019ll say that. All I can say is you\u2019ve sparred with heavyweights your whole life. No one\u2019s hit as hard as me, I\u2019m telling you right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
