Explaining why he chose to present a different version of himself, Samay said, \u201cWaha maine kiya \u2014 \u2018Sir dadi meri aapki bohot badi fan hai\u2019… You are not honest on the Indian internet. You cannot be yourself. You play the game, you play the room.\u201dHe added that he consciously stepped away from his usual edgy persona. \u201cMain samajhta tha, KBC mein jab ja raha tha, ki main har jagah h*rami banta hoon, yaha clean banunga na to log bolenge what a versatile creator.\u201d <\/p>\n

Samay Raina roasts Amitabh Bachchan<\/p>\n

The comedian shared that despite having \u201culta seedha\u201d thoughts while sitting on the hot seat, he held himself back to maintain that image. He even revealed a joke he chose not to crack at Bachchan\u2019s expense: \u201cSir, aapne itna polio ka ad kiya, phir bhi apne bete ko paon pe kyu nahi khada kar paye sir.\u201dHe then humorously imagined how things might have unfolded after his appearance. He joked that since Amitabh Bachchan is very active on Twitter, the megastar must have initially thought Samay had achieved something big when he saw him on TV \u2014 \u201cmaybe even won a Param Vir Chakra\u201d \u2014 calling out to his family, including Rekha, in excitement.
