<\/p>\nDave “Hughesy” Hughes has gone viral after exposing a neighbour who left their car parked in the middle of a Melbourne cul-de-sac during the Easter Monday public holiday.<\/p>\n
Taking to Instagram, the Aussie comedian, 55, raged about how the car had been left blocking the road for more than 20 minutes, making it impossible for him to drive home.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a dead-end street…That car is parked in the middle of the road. That\u2019s not good. We want to go home,\u201d Hughes complained in a video.<\/p>\n

Elaborating on the situation, the TV personality revealed he even considered calling the police when the car was left sitting there with no driver in sight.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow long do I wait before we call the cops?\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t just leave your car in the middle of the road, even on a public holiday. It\u2019s been at least 20 minutes already.\u201d<\/p>\n
The comedian’s fans were also outraged, and many encouraged him to call the authorities.<\/p>\n
“So inconsiderate – we always have people park across our back gate driveway, have called police and they can\u2019t do anything,” one person sympathised.<\/p>\n
“How do these people pass their drivers license test? He\u2019s blocking other drivers from getting through, therefore I\u2019d call the police and they should teach them a lesson,” another fan agreed.<\/p>\n
Another person argued Hughesy would have “enough room to get out”, and others suggested the car may have belonged to a “delivery driver, tradesperson, or emergency worker”.<\/p>\n
Hughes did not provide an update on how the situation resolved itself, but later appeared at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for Hawthorn’s AFL clash against the Geelong Cats<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hughes was there to help raise awareness of pancreatic cancer with the Dare to Hope charity, which was founded by late AFL player Paul Dear before his death<\/a>.<\/p>\n The comedian has been a longtime ambassador for the charity and also participated in the relay at last year’s AFL Legends match.<\/p>\n![\"Dave](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/dd9ece8df0374ff0b8928541c1581005.jpeg\")
