The statistics are sobering\u2014one in two Australians will experience mental health challenges in their lifetime, and two in five children will face these issues before turning 14.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will gather at the Scarborough Rotary Clocktower before setting off on a 4.4-kilometre return walk to the Trigg Surf Life Saving Club. The route follows public footpaths, ensuring a safe and accessible experience for everyone. The event is open to people of all abilities and is pet-friendly, encouraging participants to \u201cWalk &amp; Talk\u201d in support of the theme \u201cphysical health for mental health.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Entry is $30 per person, with children aged 15 and under walking for free. Every dollar raised will go directly to funding vital, carefully selected mental health research through Australian Rotary\u00a0Health.<\/p>\n<p>Organisers hope the walk will not only raise funds but also foster open conversations about mental health within the community.
