Box Score<\/a> <\/p>\n MEMPHIS, Tenn. \u2013 The No. 40-ranked Harding men’s tennis team displayed its depth and dominant form Tuesday afternoon, rolling to a 6-1 victory over Christian Brothers at the Leftwich Tennis Center.<\/p>\n The Bisons (11-6) swept the doubles point and claimed five of the six singles matches to secure their second consecutive win.<\/p>\n Doubles Sweep<\/p>\n Harding asserted control early by sweeping all three doubles flights. The No. 3-ranked duo of Adrian Solorzano<\/a> and Cian Mikkelsen<\/a> faced a stiff challenge at the No. 1 position but ultimately outlasted Benjamin Hanriot and Juan Ycaza, 7-5.<\/p>\n The Bisons found quicker results on the lower courts. Luis Agullo<\/a> and Sebastian De Las Salas<\/a> opened the scoring with a 6-2 win at No. 3, while the No. 44-ranked pairing of Florian Gayme<\/a> and Jan Alexander Has<\/a> followed shortly after with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 to clinch the point.<\/p>\n Singles Dominance<\/p>\n Harding carried the momentum into singles play, winning five matches in straight sets. Sophomore Caleb Folse<\/a> was the first off the court, delivering a flawless 6-0, 6-0 performance at the No. 4 spot to push the Harding lead to 2-0.<\/p>\n Freshman Jan Alexander Has<\/a> and senior Luis Agullo<\/a> followed with efficient victories at No. 6 and No. 5, respectively, to secure the team win. Cian Mikkelsen<\/a> added to the tally at No. 3 with a 6-0, 6-4 win, and Sebastian De Las Salas<\/a> remained sharp at the No. 2 position with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.<\/p>\n The final match of the day at No. 1 singles was a marathon battle between two nationally recognized players. After splitting the first two sets, Solorzano narrowly fell to Hanriot in a 10-8 third-set tiebreaker.<\/p>\n By the Numbers<\/p>\n
