A Brisbane rideshare driver has been charged with rape, stalking and coercive control over incidents involving three women across the city over the span of five years.

Queensland Police will allege the driver connected with a 27-year-old passenger on social media and developed a relationship after driving her home in a white Mercedes Benz A45 at night in June 2025.

“During the relationship, it will be alleged the man repeatedly accessed the woman’s phone and threatened to assault her,” police said in a statement.

“The woman unsuccessfully attempted to end the relationship on numerous occasions.”

Police said it would be alleged the man attended the woman’s house unannounced on the night of July 20 and sexually assaulted her.

“The woman ended the relationship and told the man not to contact her again,” police said.

Police allege the man again turned up at the woman’s house unannounced on August 17 and threatened her, however left due to other people being there.

In a separate incident on November 1, 2024 the man allegedly exchanged social media account details with a 21-year-old woman who used a white Mercedes Benz A45 rideshare to return home from Fortitude Valley.

“Over the next seven days it will be alleged the man sent the woman multiple messages and threatened to attend her workplace,” police said.

“The woman never met the man after the original ride share and blocked him on social media and phone before attending a police station to report the matter.”

Allegations span back to 2020

Police said it would be further alleged four years earlier, in November 2020, the man assaulted a 20-year-old woman and went through her phone two months into their relationship.

“The man allegedly phoned the woman multiple times per day and turned up at her house if she did not answer the phone calls,” police said.

Police said the woman finished the relationship in early 2021 and attended a police station in May that year in relation to the matter.

Police executed a search warrant at a Ferny Hills address on November 17, 2025 and seized mobile phones and a laptop allegedly belonging to the man.

The 29-year-old Ferny Hills man has been charged with one count each of rape, coercive control and threatening violence and three counts of stalking.

He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 17.

Police said extensive investigations indicated the same man is allegedly involved in all incidents.

Senior Sergeant Robert Lowry said anyone who had had a similar interaction should contact police.

“We do believe from the information we have got that there are probably other women out there that have experienced this behaviour by this driver,” he said.

He said the man had been described as being 5’6″ and of a muscular build, with a tanned complexion, facial hair and tattoos on both arms and one leg.

Senior Sergeant Lowry said said the man no longer drove for the rideshare service, but that police allege the 29-year-old may still be in the industry and operating on the Gold Coast.

“But I am not aware of any other victims coming from that particular location,” Senior Sergeant Lowry said.

A Brisbane rideshare driver has been charged with rape, stalking and coercive control over incidents involving three women…

[4
64,63,289373,44,94,701,4106,163650,48575
post-592698","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-australia","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-coervive-control","tag-news","tag-qld","tag-queensland","tag-queensland-police","tag-sexual-offences","tag-stalking
["GET
