The Buffalo Bills<\/a> are doing their due diligence regarding the team’s secondary prior to the 2026 NFL draft.<\/p>\n

According to college football analyst Ryan Fowler, the Bills are one of three teams LSU safety AJ Haulcy met with prior to the upcoming draft:<\/p>\n

Haulcy is a 6-foot defensive back that could compete for playing time in Buffalo’s secondary on their unit now run by new coordinator Jim Leonhard. Cole Bishop is returning at the safety position but the starting spot next to him is up for grabs.<\/p>\n

Haulcy is considered a potential Day 2 selection at the upcoming draft. However, Buffalo currently holds picks at No. 26 in Round 1 and No. 91 in Round 3. Haulcy could be a target in the second round if the Bills decide to trade back during the first day of the draft as well.<\/p>\n

In 12 games last season, Haulcy had 88 tackles, including 0.5 for loss, with three interceptions, for passes defended and a forced fumble.<\/p>\n
