Carlos Ulberg believes he\u2019s left no stone unturned ahead of his UFC 327 title fight, but he knows how crafty Jiri Prochazka can be.<\/p>\n

Ulberg and Prochazka will take center stage in the main event<\/a> of UFC 327 on Saturday in Miami. The two will collide for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. It\u2019s a short notice fight for both men with Alex Pereira vacating the 205-pound gold in an attempt to capture the interim heavyweight title on June 14.<\/p>\n

During an interview with UFC.com<\/a>, Ulberg admitted that preparing for Prochazka in a short period of time has been no easy task. Still, Ulberg has been expecting a world title shot for a long time.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, there\u2019s no real preparing for a particular fighter like Jiri,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s very unpredictable. We do have some looks that can give us what we need for this particular fight. It was a short notice to take this fight on \u2013 especially it being a world title fight, five rounds. But we\u2019ve been preparing for this fight for years now. We\u2019ve seen it happen. We\u2019ve seen that Jiri could be a possible opponent, whether it be for the title or not; he would be someone in my path.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve always been ready. We know we\u2019re ready when we go in there. It\u2019s just about getting the job done and handling business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ulberg earned his opportunity thanks to a nine-fight winning streak. In his most recent fight, \u201cBlack Jag\u201d scored a first-round knockout victory over Dominick Reyes<\/a>. The win improved Ulberg\u2019s pro MMA record to 13-1.<\/p>\n
