{"id":596956,"date":"2026-04-10T02:14:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T02:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/596956\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T02:14:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T02:14:08","slug":"where-is-the-value-amongst-asx-healthcare-shares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/596956\/","title":{"rendered":"Where is the value amongst ASX healthcare shares?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In what has been a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/definitions\/volatility\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">volatile<\/a> start to 2026, ASX healthcare shares have been amongst the sharemarket losers.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>The S&amp;P\/ASX 200 Health Care Index (ASX: XHJ) has fallen almost 17% year to date.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, there are opportunities to find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/investing-education\/value-shares\/#:~:text=Benefits%20of%20investing%20in%20value%20shares,-Who%20doesn&#039;t&amp;text=Investing%20in%20value%20shares%20means,wealth%20over%20the%20longer%20term.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">value for investors.\u00a0<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s look at three ASX healthcare shares drawing positive outlooks from experts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/imaging-scans-16.9-1200x675.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full wp-post-image\" alt=\"Doctor checking patient's spine x-ray image.\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Image source: Getty Images<\/p>\n<p> Telix Pharmaceuticals Ltd (<a class=\"tickerized-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/tickers\/asx-tlx\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ASX: TLX<\/a>) <\/p>\n<p>Telix is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the ongoing development of diagnostic and therapeutic (&#8216;theranostic&#8217;) products using targeted radiation.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>This process treats cancerous or diseased cells, an alternative approach to many cancer therapies, which also attack healthy tissue at the same time. <\/p>\n<p>Telix shares have rebounded over the past couple of months, rising 55% since mid February.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Telix shares rose in March largely because several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/2026\/04\/07\/are-telix-shares-a-buy-after-flying-40-higher-in-march\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">value-driving catalysts hit at once<\/a>, improving both fundamentals and investor sentiment. <\/p>\n<p>However, they remain down 48% over the last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In good news for investors, brokers are expecting Telix shares to recover even further.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/2026\/04\/08\/top-brokers-name-3-asx-shares-to-buy-today-8-april-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bell Potter<\/a> retained its buy rating and $19 price target on this radiopharmaceuticals company&#8217;s shares.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From yesterday&#8217;s closing price of $13.64, this indicates a further upside of roughly 39%.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> Mayne Pharma Group Ltd (<a class=\"tickerized-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/tickers\/asx-myx\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ASX: MYX<\/a>) <\/p>\n<p>Mayne Pharma Group is another ASX healthcare stock that is down significantly from yearly highs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It has fallen 32% year to date.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This includes a 6% decline yesterday, as investors may have reacted negatively to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/2026\/04\/07\/whats-the-impact-of-us-tariffs-on-aussie-drugmakers-csl-and-mayne-pharma\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fresh tariff worries<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>However, the company is confident <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/tickers\/asx-myx\/announcements\/2026-04-07\/3a690837\/myx-expects-no-material-impact-from-us-s232-tariffs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the new tariffs <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/tickers\/asx-myx\/announcements\/2026-04-07\/3a690837\/myx-expects-no-material-impact-from-us-s232-tariffs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">will<\/a>\u00a0have &#8220;no material impact&#8221; on its FY27 earnings profile.<\/p>\n<p>The stock price closed yesterday at $2.16, and after the recent fall, it may be another value play.<\/p>\n<p>Two analysts&#8217; forecasts via TradingView have an average one-year price target of $5.75 on the stock, indicating more than 160% upside.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> EBR Systems Inc (<a class=\"tickerized-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/tickers\/asx-ebr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ASX: EBR<\/a>) <\/p>\n<p>EBR Systems Inc is engaged in treatment for patients suffering from cardiac rhythm diseases by developing therapies using wireless cardiac stimulation.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s Wise CRT System uses proprietary wireless technology to deliver pacing stimulation directly inside the left ventricle of the heart.<\/p>\n<p>It is down roughly 30% year to date.
