LOUIS \u2014 The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) announced its Golfers of the Week on Friday morning, and UNI&#8217;s Tanner Dinnebier was named the Valley&#8217;s Men&#8217;s Golfer of the Week.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After a strong performance at the WIU Intercollegiate at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, last week, Dinnebier led UNI to a second-place finish, the team&#8217;s best finish of the season. Shooting a -4, 209, Dinnebier set a career-low in the third round of action, carding a 64 (-7), the second-best round in UNI men&#8217;s golf history. Dinnebier tallied 14 birdies over the two-day tournament, carding eight of those in round three.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is UNI&#8217;s first Golfer of the Week selection since\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unipanthers.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/connor-van-weelden\/7020\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"7020\" target=\"_blank\">Connor Van Weelden<\/a>\u00a0was named Men&#8217;s Golfer of the Week in October of 2024.
