SURABAYA \u2013 The Philippine under-17 men\u2019s national football team (PMNFT U17) is currently in Indonesia to compete in the 2026 ASEAN Under-17 Boys\u2019 Championship from April 11 to 24, 2026.<\/p>\n
Coached by Spanish gaffer Joan Segura Farre and assisted by Filipino coaches Mark Hilay and Ryan Fermin, the Philippines will compete in Group B with 2024 runner-up Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.<\/p>\n
Head coach Segura, 36, is a UEFA Pro Licensed coach accredited by the Royal Spanish Football Federation and is concurrently the technical advisor of the Negros Occidental Regional Football Association (NORFA). Assistant coach Hilay is also a grassroots coach in NORFA while fellow assistant Fermin is the current head coach of PAREF Southridge Admirals and assistant coach of the UP Fighting Maroons.<\/p>\n
