LOS ANGELES \u2014 No. 51 LMU\u00a0men’s tennis dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 16 San Diego on Friday at LMU Tennis Center, falling to 16-2 on the season.<\/p>\n

The Lions never found their footing, ceding the doubles point early as the Toreros won two of three courts. Cesar Cruz<\/a> and Emil Kindhult<\/a> fell to Stian Klaassen and Oliver Tarvet, 6-3, at No. 2, and Cyrus Ahmad<\/a> and Darius Tamaddon<\/a> dropped a 6-4 decision to Manvydas Balciunas and Vincent Marysko at No. 3. Alex Padro Parra<\/a> and Max Wuelfing’s<\/a> match against Adrien Berrut and Lambert Ruland at No. 1 went unfinished.<\/p>\n

LMU couldn’t recover in singles. ITA No. 21 Oliver Tarvet overwhelmed Max Wuelfing<\/a> 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1, and Neo Niedner handed Tristan Messerli<\/a> a 6-2, 6-2 defeat at No. 6. Vincent Marysko then sealed the match for San Diego, topping Emil Kindhult<\/a> 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3.<\/p>\n

The remaining three singles matches,\u00a0featuring Cesar Cruz<\/a>, Alex Padro Parra<\/a> and Kuba Hrynkiewicz<\/a>, were left unfinished with the outcome already decided.
