With the NFL draft less than a week away, mock drafts are popping up across the media landscape, and a clearer picture is slowly coming into focus, with many in the media zeroing in on the Tennessee Titans<\/a> selecting Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.<\/p>\n

Love is no doubt one of the best players in this class, and could be a game-changer for the Titans’ offense. It does make some sense as they build around Cam Ward. The latest to sound off and give Love to the Titans is media personality Colin Cowherd in his latest mock draft<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pick 4. Tennessee Titans<\/a>: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame<\/p>\n

Cowherd’s thoughts: First of all, Robert Saleh knows the value of a star running back for a young quarterback. He watched [Christian] McCaffrey with Brock Purdy. Saleh’s got a better offensive feel than most defensive coaches. He actually does, I’ve texted with Robert on that. He likes offense and knows its value. [Love] is a home-run hitter. I’m telling you, the drop-off between Love and the second-best running back in this draft might be greater than Fernando Mendoza’s drop-off to the second-best quarterback. He’s an absolute Jahmyr Gibbs[-type].<\/p>\n

This is yet another comparison to Jahmyr Gibbs, and even though the positional value may not meet traditional standards, there is no doubt that teams would be running to the podium to select Gibbs. That same line of thinking should apply to Love. Yes, he isn\u2019t as proven as Gibbs, but the potential is there, and it could be a difference maker that would help Brian Daboll create a dynamic offense.<\/p>\n
