High price, Oppo Find N6 attracts limited consumer interest<\/p>\n
The foldable smartphone, launched in the country on March 27, is notable for its \u201cinvisible crease\u201d technology. However, despite a modest price reduction of VND1,000,000 (US$41) since its debut, demand remains subdued.<\/p>\n
The only bright spot so far comes from retailer CellphoneS. A company representative said the system has received more than 200 pre-orders, with the orange version repeatedly selling out and customers having to wait for restocks.<\/p>\n
In contrast, figures listed on the website of Th\u1ebf Gi\u1edbi Di \u0110\u1ed9ng (Mobile World) show just 30 purchases. A company spokesperson confirmed that the number accurately reflects actual sales.<\/p>\n
According to the retailer, pricing remains the primary barrier. While the device is equipped with advanced features such as an \u201cinvisible crease\u201d display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Hasselblad camera system, and a high-capacity battery, the nearly VND64 million price tag (US$2,600) puts it beyond the reach of most consumers.<\/p>\n
At Di \u0110\u1ed9ng Vi\u1ec7t, the device has not yet been officially launched. However, the retailer is collecting expressions of interest to gauge market demand, particularly for products with new or differentiated technologies.<\/p>\n
Loan Tran, a communications representative for the system, said initial data suggests a positive level of interest in Oppo\u2019s latest foldable smartphone.<\/p>\n
However, she noted that in the premium segment, consumers tend to research carefully and require hands-on experience before making purchasing decisions. As a result, early registrations primarily reflect market curiosity rather than immediate buying intent.<\/p>\n
These insights, she added, will help the company assess demand and work with partners to develop appropriate business strategies in the near future.<\/p>\n
Oppo Find N6 stands out with its \u201cinvisible crease\u201d design, achieved through a second-generation titanium alloy hinge combined with high-precision 3D manufacturing, reducing deviation to just 0.05mm. This allows the foldable display to remain nearly flat while minimizing visible creases.<\/p>\n
The device is also accompanied by the AI Magic Pen, offering 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity for accurate writing and note-taking across both inner and outer displays. The stylus supports features such as quick notes, full-screen annotation, and a laser pointer function.<\/p>\n
In terms of imaging, the smartphone features a professional Hasselblad camera system, including a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with improved light capture, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.<\/p>\n
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the device is equipped with a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.<\/p>\n
The Oppo Find N6 features two premium displays. The outer screen measures 6.62 inches, surrounded by ultra-thin symmetrical bezels of just 1.4mm. When unfolded, the inner display expands to 8.12 inches.<\/p>\n
Both screens offer peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits, ensuring clear visibility even under strong outdoor lighting conditions.<\/p>\n
At its current price point, the comparison with the iPhone 17 Pro becomes difficult to ignore. With the iPhone 17 Pro priced at VND33,990,000 (US$1,380) at Di \u0110\u1ed9ng Vi\u1ec7t (Viet Mobile), consumers would need to spend only about VND4,000,000 (US$160) more to purchase two units instead of opting for a single Oppo Find N6.<\/p>\n
