\n\tLast week, former Superman actor Dean Cain announced plans<\/a> to join ICE. On the latest episode of Last Week Tonight<\/a>, host John Oliver<\/a> quipped that Cain won\u2019t need to disguise himself with a mask because the chances of people knowing who he is \u201care fucking zero.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou know, there\u2019s an old saying in Hollywood: \u2018If all you can get is Dean Cain, you are fucked,\u2019\u201d\u00a0Oliver said during the episode, which focused on Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s deportation promises. \u201cNow, I\u2019m not saying that\u00a0ICE\u00a0isn\u2019t finding people. I\u2019m just saying, when you are reduced to pinning a badge on the 59-year-old star of\u00a0The Dog Who Saved Christmas, The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation, The Dog Who Saved the Holidays, The Dog Who Saved Halloween, The Dog Who Saved Easter\u00a0and\u00a0The Dog Who Saved Summer, maybe you are in trouble.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cAlthough, on the plus side, no need for that guy to wear a mask because the chances of anyone recognizing him are fucking zero.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tOliver offered some advice on what to do if you\u2019re approached by ICE agents. \u201cAttorneys told us the only two things you should say to them are: \u2018Am I free to leave?\u2019 And \u2018I want to speak to a lawyer,’\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s it. You have the right to remain silent. And I recognize that in some cases you may be unable to help yourself from saying, \u2018Didn\u2019t you used to be Superman?\u2019 \u2018I thought you died.\u2019 \u2018I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m meeting a filmmaker.\u2019 But that really is it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShortly after Last Week Tonight aired on Sunday night, Cain responded to Oliver\u2019s criticism, writing, \u201cHe stole that mask joke from the internet \u2014 and he also laughed hysterically when Trump said he was going to run for President. Case closed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCain revealed his plans to join ICE during an appearance on Fox News\u2019\u00a0Jesse Watters Primetime.\u00a0Cain was sworn in as a reserve police officer in Idaho in 2018, then again as a reserve deputy sheriff in Virginia in 2022. \u201cI will be sworn in as an ICE agent A.S.A.P.,\u201d he confirmed. \u201cWe have a broken immigration system. Congress needs to fix it, but in the interim, President Trump ran on this. He is delivering on this. This is what people voted for. It\u2019s what I voted for and he\u2019s going to see it through, and I\u2019ll do my part and help make sure it happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
