Directed by Pil Gam-sung, the film is based on the webtoon of the same name. The comedy follows a doting father who embarks on a top-secret training mission to protect his daughter \u2013 the last remaining zombie in the world. The film features a star-studded cast including Cho Jung-seok (\u201cPilot\u201d), Lee Jung-eun (\u201cParasite\u201d), Cho Yeo-jeong (\u201cParasite\u201d), Yoon Kyung-ho (\u201cThe Trauma Code: Heroes on Call\u201d), and Choi Yu-ri (\u201cAlienoid\u201d). The film set a 2025 opening-day admissions record, surpassing \u201cMission: Impossible \u2013 Final Reckoning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn second place, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/brad-pitt\/\" id=\"auto-tag_brad-pitt\" data-tag=\"brad-pitt\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brad Pitt<\/a> racing drama \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/f1\/\" id=\"auto-tag_f1\" data-tag=\"f1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">F1<\/a>\u201d added $2.6 million, bringing its cumulative total to $28.1 million. New entry \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/ballerina\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ballerina\" data-tag=\"ballerina\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ballerina<\/a>,\u201d a \u201cJohn Wick\u201d universe film, debuted in third place with $802,732 and has a cumulative total of $1.3 million. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSouth Korean animated biblical tale \u201cThe King of Kings\u201d took fourth with $584,541, lifting its total to $7.8 million. In fifth, \u201cSmurfs\u201d debuted with $415,200 and a cume of $586,174, followed by \u201cThe Bad Guys 2\u201d in sixth with $352,867 for a $1.9 million total. Fantasy action \u201cOmniscient Reader\u201d placed seventh, adding $188,686 for a $7.1 million cume.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tDebuting in eighth, horror title \u201cThe Ghost Game\u201d opened with $191,527. Directed by Son Dong-wan, the high-teen mystery horror follows Ja-young (Yeri, aka Kim Ye-rim), a high school student haunted by guilt over her missing sister. Along with friends Dong-joon (Lee Chan-hyung), Gi-ho (Seo Dong-hyun), Ye-eun (Oh So-hyun), Mi-yeon (Kim Eun-bi), and Seo-woo (Park Seo-yeon), she stages a s\u00e9ance for a YouTube challenge in an abandoned cistern \u2013 only to unleash terrifying supernatural forces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tJapanese hit \u201cDetective Conan the Movie: One-Eyed Flashback\u201d earned $161,290 for a cumulative $4.9 million.
