Britain’s Got Talent viewers have expressed their frustration after Amanda Holden activated the golden buzzer for a second time during this evening’s broadcast.<\/p>\n

The ITV judge had already used her golden buzzer earlier in the series for Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Farmers Choir.<\/p>\n

During Saturday night’s episode, dance troupe World Wings delivered an energetic routine featuring a medley of tracks including Lil Boo Thang, prompting Ms Holden to hit the coveted button once more.<\/p>\n

The audience erupted as the group completed their performance, with Holden praising their “amazing” energy.<\/p>\n

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon described watching the dancers as witnessing a “ball of fire” on stage.<\/p>\n

The decision to award another golden buzzer has triggered a wave of criticism from viewers on X.<\/p>\n

Many took to the platform to voice their displeasure, with some questioning whether the golden buzzer had lost its significance.<\/p>\n

“Remember when golden buzzers were special? #bgt,” wrote one disgruntled viewer.<\/p>\n

The criticism grew increasingly pointed, with one user suggesting the award had become meaningless: “At this point, the Golden Buzzer is becoming a participation award. Next year, Golden Buzzers for all acts #bgt #BritainsGotTalent.”<\/p>\n

Others were more blunt in their assessment of Ms Holden’s decision.<\/p>\n

Despite the backlash, not all viewers were critical of the decision to send World Wings straight through to the live finals.<\/p>\n

Some fans expressed their support for the young performers on social media.<\/p>\n

“I like them. Nice group of talented hardworking youngsters and I love all styles of dance as an art form – even if overdone on #bgt Happy for them,” one supporter wrote.<\/p>\n

Another viewer offered a more playful take on the group’s success: “World Wings are certainly flying high after that audition. #BGT.”<\/p>\n

Ms Holden had previously awarded the honour to Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Farmers Choir earlier in the competition.<\/p>\n

Five additional acts have also received the coveted fast-track to the live shows this year.<\/p>\n

Para athlete Paul Nunnari, magician Rafferty Coope and video projection ensemble Antigravity have all been granted golden buzzers by the judging panel.<\/p>\n
