KU managed two touchdown passes, both in the first half, but the Royals’ 26-straight points led to the Seahawks’ second loss of the season.<\/p>\n The first quarter began with the Seahawks in possession, quickly establishing momentum with Ava Wallace<\/a> completing a 20-yard pass to Ashlea Klam<\/a> to advance the ball. However, penalties briefly stalled their progress. Despite these setbacks, KU regained control with Wallace connecting multiple times, notably completing a 17-yard touchdown pass to Tremesha Harris<\/a> with just 11 seconds remaining. The successful extra point pass to Klam pushed the Seahawks to a 7-0 lead as the quarter concluded.<\/p>\n Kylee Caetano’s<\/a> QB flag pull for a loss of Warner’s quarterback, Kathryn Hutchinson, for a seven-yard loss shifted momentum to KU early in the second quarter. Wallace then led a successful drive, connecting with Janasia Wilson<\/a> for a 14-yard touchdown pass at 6:52, extending the lead to 13-0. Despite Warner’s response with a touchdown pass from Hutchinson to Avalon Lux-Offermann at 1:03, the Seahawks maintained a 13-6 advantage. Wallace orchestrated a late drive, completing passes to Dakota Moberg<\/a> and Sarah Villarreal<\/a>, but time expired with KU leading 13-6 at halftime.<\/p>\n In the third quarter, the Seahawks managed to sustain a strong offensive drive after Wallace completed a 20-yard pass to Moberg, securing a first down at their own 39-yard line. Wallace continued to advance the ball with completions to Harris and Villarreal, pushing KU into Warner territory. Despite the progress, the drive stalled at the Warner 28-yard line after an incomplete fourth-down pass to Wilson. Warner capitalized on its possession, culminating in a touchdown pass to Jessica Finley, but failed the subsequent conversion attempt. The quarter ended with Warner leading the Seahawks 13-12.<\/p>\n In the fourth quarter, the Seahawks faced an uphill battle after Warner increased its lead with a touchdown at 11:52, bringing the score to 19-13. Wallace led KU’s effort with multiple completions, including a 14-yard pass to Moberg and another to\u00a0Villareal for a first down.
