[IMAGE: Nick Wall]<\/p>\n<p>In a statement posted to the club\u2019s official channels, Te Arai Links confirmed the devastating news and paid tribute to those involved in the emergency response.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs some of you may have seen in the news, Ric\u2019s Restaurant was lost to a fire earlier today. It has been a very emotional day for our team, and we are incredibly grateful that no one was injured.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to extend our sincere thanks to the fire brigade for their rapid response. Its remote setting also presents logistical challenges, making the swift response from emergency crews all the more critical.<\/p>\n<p>What happens next will be closely watched. The club has made it clear: rebuilding is already front of mind, and the intent is not just to replace Ric\u2019s, but to evolve it.<\/p>\n<p>For now, the fairways remain, the ocean still frames every hole, and the golf \u2013 world class as it is \u2013 goes on.
