It would be unkind if she has a mechanical.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T16:05:07.601Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-253d10f8-3fdd-4cc2-ad22-494707b1b9f7\">Onto the final real cobbles at Hem and still Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot leads.<br \/>This is a fascinating tactical position for Koch, but she&#8217;s not just powerful she&#8217;s clever.<br \/>Her first pro win was at the Boels Ladies Tour where she exectuted a very clever sprint from the breakway. But could she really out think Vos?<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T16:02:17.320Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-2015753f-58aa-4062-8c68-692df9bc816d\">Into the final 10km and it&#8217;s no change. Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot said before the race that she would work for Marianne Vos and she&#8217;s certainly doing that.<br \/>Along with Koch they lead Kopecky and Jastrab by 1.12.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-10km-to-go\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/>10km to go<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:59:51.311Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-fb5cbb91-4e82-4b32-bce5-c38c44219448\">Jastrab and Kopecky are riding for their lives but they&#8217;re not closing the gap at all.<br \/>Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot is doing the work in the front, giving Koch a rest as they appraoch the Willems \u00e0 Hem sector, which is a 2 star sector of pav\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:57:03.841Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-9687fbde-014a-44b4-a4c7-879a0c61d7c3\">The Gruson sector is done now, it&#8217;s the last hard one and we&#8217;re heading towards the finish in Roubaix. <br \/>Marianne Vos is surely in the box seat here. Koch has tried to separate the two Visma riders, but they&#8217;re stubbornly together and can play off each other to beat the German champion.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:54:52.760Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-0cd73440-327d-49a1-a308-fda59e78fa29\">Koch resists a move from Marianne Vos and Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot is back on the front. Lotte Kopecky is with Megan Jastrab (UAE Team ADQ) one minute down after Lucinda Brand (Lidl-Trek) hit a spectator and crashed.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-15km-to-go\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/>15km to go<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:52:27.066Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-fb21ca5a-b89f-44ad-b57d-aff2ae00f7ea\">Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot is back again. Koch is doing a lot of work here. She drops her rivals but when they come back, she stays on the front. But she&#8217;s back again!<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:47:44.997Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-2a6ad92f-ef57-483b-b7dd-76eac5ba020c\">Koch attacks on the pav\u00e9, dropping Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot, though the French woman gets back on and it&#8217;s advantage to Visma-Lease a Bike again.<br \/>Meanwhile Vas is back on it at the front of the chasing group. Too little too late?<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:45:45.294Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-6d0b87ef-13e2-4f02-9563-ef5c58c3f53f\">Onto the 4 star Cmaphin-en-P\u00e9v\u00e8le sector and Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot is with her Visma-Lease a Bike team mate Vos and Franziska Koch (FDJ United-SUEZ).<br \/>Meanwhile Vas has sat up and is waiting for the group.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-20km-to-go\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/>20km to go <\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:43:52.466Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-888fe1a2-a4a9-4c20-a9d6-5928e3b559c2\">23km to go and it&#8217;s all change ahead of the Camphin-en-P\u00e9v\u00e8le sector. Koch and Vos still lead while Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot has dropped Vas.<br \/>It&#8217;s gone wrong for SD Worx, who have set Lorena Wiebes and Julia Kopeck\u00fd to work in what remains of the peloton.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:41:31.836Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-28e50b38-4722-4f11-af75-4220239fa736\">On the Bourghelles \u00e0 Wannehain sector Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot goes hard, then Koch attacks with Vos on her wheel. The pair have an instant gap, Vas doesn&#8217;t seem to be able to close it down.<br \/>German champion Koch has been string all season and is looking good.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:39:39.422Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-00d2c371-0020-4386-b67d-b49fe359f9b9\">Vas is now taking turns in the leading group, so it&#8217;s all in from each of the four leaders, though there&#8217;s a fair bit of looking around&#8230; And Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot attacks in the same place as she made last year&#8217;s winning move.<br \/>It&#8217;s all back tohether though.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:37:52.080Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-1adcf5c5-f2ce-4e2e-bee1-d69dc6fdd9d3\">More cobbles and we&#8217;re getting to the business end of the race now. Cysoing \u00e0 Bourghelles leads almost straight onto the Bourghelles \u00e0 Wannehain sector, they&#8217;re only 3 star but they&#8217;re not easy.<br \/>Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot is on the front and the gap is now 1.27,<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:35:03.147Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-fdefd906-83a6-4e24-81d6-2c6c648a35a7\">Vos, Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot, Koch and Vas still lead with only Vas not rolling through. SD Worx are leading the chase, but the gap is at 55 seconds!<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:26:16.921Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-bdfa0445-8b47-4631-873b-3c666c07f215\">The Templeuve sector is two in one the first a 1 star sector, the second is 2 star, but the four leaders are now 50 seconds ahead. has the race already been won?<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:22:44.839Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-91e77ff6-67e5-4328-80ac-c90c897b47f4\">The two Visma riders have a chat on the front while Vos takes over on the front. <br \/>Koch comes through too, but Vas is sitting on, she has Lotte Kopecky in a chasing group about 30 seconds back.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:19:59.598Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-0643cd7b-2162-4d03-9375-4f20267679b2\">More cobbles, this time the 3 star Pont-Thibault \u00e0 Ennevelin sector. Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot is putting in a huge effort here, while team mate Vos is sitting on the back.<br \/>Vos might have won most things, but she&#8217;s not won Paris-Roubaix, her best finish coming in 2021 when she was second.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:17:25.582Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-aa7fb3a9-2bd1-43da-8574-291e38e76855\">Vos, Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot, Koch and Vas lead by 38 seconds and there&#8217;s aa fair bit of looking about in the chase. Could this be the winning group?<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-40km-to-go\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/>40km to go<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T15:15:02.246Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-7e658010-307e-4be7-ae9c-cfa78658b54e\">It&#8217;s Vos alone! It&#8217;s a 4 star and 2.7km long.<br \/>We&#8217;ve got a big group on the front but there&#8217;s a significant split in the race now, with much of the FDJ United-SUEZ squad chasing on.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T14:51:46.833Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-493bfe3b-2603-4538-80ba-0214983e799e\">Julia Kopeck\u00fd is on the front for SD Worx, both her brothers rode the men&#8217;s race for Unibet-Rose Rockets.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T14:50:39.862Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-6e3aee4f-c122-453d-9843-3ee28a941456\">Onto the Orchies sector and the peloton is still together, with SD Worx-Protime now leading a stretched out bunch.<br \/>Unfortuneately we&#8217;ve had a big crash with a number of rdiers down.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-60km-to-go\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/>60km to go<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T14:47:38.358Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-5641d16f-8d4b-43f0-9c86-0e6d88bf0a76\">We&#8217;ve been going for more than two hours and the average speed is more than 40km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T14:45:03.516Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-adafb863-8b0b-4ac4-9d7d-d44d55f7868d\">The first 5 star sector is coming soon, but first we have two more sectors to deal with. <br \/>NExt? The 3 star Orchies sector, which comes with 60km to go. It&#8217;s 1.7km long and finishes only 4km from the next big one.<\/p>\n<p>2026-04-12T14:39:13.770Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-8be28c0d-1c53-419f-b6a9-b260a2dfa4a0\">The next sector is almost here, it&#8217;s relentless.
