After suffering through 38 episodes of this freak show, we weren\u2019t sure there was anything new left to learn in this penultimate installment. And then, right on cue, a drunk girl starts scream-slurring something about \u201cscurvy sea dog c**t\u201d. <\/p>\n
Clearly this is the frontrunner for Macquarie Dictionary\u2019s 2026 word of the year. <\/p>\n

All the freaks return for one last opportunity to publicly humiliate each other.<\/p>\n Everyone arrives jilted and vengeful.<\/p>\n The couples who found love? Filip and Stella are still engaged. Rachel and Steven? Broken up. She\u2019s crying on the balcony about how he \u201ccan\u2019t prioritise a relationship\u201d.<\/p>\n Oh doll. If you\u2019d ever watched the show before, you\u2019d know that winding up single after undergoing torture for three months is the whole point of the experiment. Everything\u2019s on track!<\/p>\n But the real story tonight? The wives who got dumped at final vows <\/a>have returned with a mission: rewrite the narrative and make themselves the victims.<\/p>\n Alissa arrives still fuming that David swooped in and dumped her<\/a> before she could dump him.<\/p>\n \u201cFinal vows left me feeling pretty shocked to be honest,\u201d she says. \u201cI didn\u2019t expect David to be so disrespectful.\u201d<\/p>\n We\u2019d engage with this complaint, but we\u2019re distracted by the fact she appears to have forgotten to dry her hair before the reunion.<\/p>\n Bec\u2019s equally furious. After being dumped by Danny at final vows<\/a>, she has discovered he has been texting another bride \u2014 Steph.<\/p>\n \u201cNo man should ever make you feel that way! He did me really dirty. He disrespected me! Danny f**ked me over!\u201d she rants.<\/p>\n Um \u2026 just because he didn\u2019t want to be with you anymore? <\/p>\n Alissa gets to the dinner party first, turning the group against David before he even arrives.<\/p>\n \u201cHe did the most disrespectful thing. He completely blindsided me. And he walked away! He abandoned me,\u201d she tells the other wives about how David dumped her in his final vows before walking out without even listening to her own speech.<\/p>\n How dare a man not want to date you anymore! Especially when you didn\u2019t want to date him either and you were seconds away from dumping him!<\/p>\n Also, your hair\u2019s still wet.<\/p>\n Producers then shove David through the door. Everyone gasps.<\/p>\n He attempts a polite greeting. \u201cYou good?\u201d<\/p>\n Alissa stares at him, disgusted \u2014 as if he has just said something rude about her wet hair. <\/p>\n \u201cAm I good?\u201d she spits. <\/p>\n She then corners him and demands they speak.<\/p>\n \u201cThat was the most disrespectful thing anyone has ever done to me,\u201d she says about final vows. \u201cYou talk about respect being your number one priority and you spat on my face, David.\u201d<\/p>\n The truth is: Alissa is actually just annoyed that David beat her to the punch and got to do the breaking up, thus robbing her of her big triumphant moment where she could dump him and belittle him with an indulgent speech. <\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t stand there for another five minutes listening to you,\u201d David explains. <\/p>\n He was sick of her browbeating him for three months.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re a coward, and your ego got the better of you. And you walked away like a little boy because you couldn\u2019t face the music,\u201d Alissa fires back.<\/p>\n Yep. SOMEONE here sure does have an ego. A very bruised one. A bruised ego \u2026 and a wet head of hair. <\/p>\n When Alissa doesn\u2019t get the apology she demands, she storms off back to her gaggle of gal pals.<\/p>\n \u201cSo rude! You are so rude! You can\u2019t even apologise!\u201d she seethes. <\/p>\n Newsflash: Just because you demand an apology doesn\u2019t mean you necessarily deserve one.<\/p>\n Now also seems like a good time to remind Alissa that she still hasn\u2019t apologised to David for trash-talking him behind his back in the final challenge where she flirted with another man and declared she was only 70 per cent invested in her marriage.<\/p>\n But anyway. At the dinner table, Alissa continues attacking David. He decides to bring out the big guns.<\/p>\n \u201cOn the flight back to Adelaide, did you or did you not get a \u2018friend\u2019s\u2019 number on the flight back?\u201d he reveals. <\/p>\n The crowd goes wild. \u201cOOOOHHHHHHH!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou got a man\u2019s number?!\u201d Bec gasps.<\/p>\n Alissa scrambles. \u201cYou know what? I\u2019m a very loud bubbly personality. I feel like I didn\u2019t cross the line. I was just being myself.\u201d<\/p>\n She then tries to flip the tables.<\/p>\n \u201cYou talk about respect and how it\u2019s so high on your list. Yet you SPAT on my face!\u201d she fumes. <\/p>\n Then the tears come. \u201cI spent three months with you and we didn\u2019t end on the terms we both wanted!\u201d<\/p>\n Read: ALISSA didn\u2019t get to end things on the terms ALISSA wanted.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Bec decides it\u2019s time to reclaim the spotlight.<\/p>\n \u201cI cooked! I cleaned! I paid for everything!\u201d she claims about her time with Danny. \u201cI came into this experiment for love and I thought I found it. But I found a fraud.\u201d<\/p>\n She tries to stir up drama about Danny messaging Steph.<\/p>\n Danny scoffs. \u201cYou message all the boys here, what are you talkin\u2019 about?!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cInk hasn\u2019t dried on our divorce papers and you\u2019re messaging another bride!\u201d Bec shrieks.<\/p>\n Someone\u2019s a little too wrapped up in the fantasy of their fake marriage.<\/p>\n Bec then pounces on Steph. <\/p>\n For context: Steph and Bec ran into each other at the airport. Knowing Bec and Danny had broken up, Steph sent some casual messages to Danny because they both work in real estate. She told Bec about it and even showed her the messages \u2014 chit chat, some pics from Hamilton Island including one with Steph in a bikini, Danny ending the chat with some love heart emojis<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s inappropriate to me,\u201d Bec declares.<\/p>\n Funny that Bec didn\u2019t find any of her own behaviour \u2014 including launching a week-long fingerbang scandal<\/a> \u2014 to be inappropriate.<\/p>\n The other wives rally around Bec.<\/p>\n Really, it\u2019s not that big of a deal. Danny dumped Bec. Weeks later, Steph and Danny sent some texts. Who cares. <\/p>\n But Bec\u2019s committed to her victim narrative. She puts on a performance about how everyone has conspired against her.<\/p>\n Then she turns on Steph and unleashes.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re contacting my ex-husband! You\u2019re meant to be my friend! When I\u2019m at the lowest of lows, you\u2019re on the phone to me saying he\u2019s a c**t, and then you\u2019re sending him bikini photos! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE! Who do YOU think you are! How DARE you do me like this, both of you!\u201d<\/p>\n The paranoid spiral whirls out of control. <\/p>\n \u201cYou deleted all the messages!\u201d Bec screams. \u201cYou\u2019re a liar! And YOU are a scurvy c**t! Off you go together you scurvy sea dog c**t! You are a dog! And so is she!\u201d<\/p>\n Just \u2026 what? <\/p>\n A triple threat insult that makes absolutely no sense. Even the moderators over at Urban Dictionary are scratching their heads. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t like Danny, I\u2019m not attracted to Danny, I\u2019m never gonna go for Danny,\u201d Steph tries to explain.<\/p>\n We cut to the other contestants watching this unfold.<\/p>\n \u201cUnhinged, quite frankly. Unhinged,\u201d Joel reports from the ground.<\/p>\n \u201cI got seasick after hearing that,\u201d Steven adds. \u201cBec\u2019s language is foul.
