Things weren\u2019t looking good for \u201cBlack Jag,\u201d who suffered a knee injury early on. It ultimately didn\u2019t matter, as Ulberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/carlos-ulberg\/ufc-327-results-carlos-ulberg-kos-jiri-prochazka-video\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">shut the lights off Prochazka<\/a> to become the new 205-pound king.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">BetOnline<\/a> has posted new betting lines for possible clashes between Ulberg and Pereira, and Ulberg and Magomed Ankalaev. As for Ankalaev, he hasn\u2019t been seen inside the Octagon since suffering a second-round TKO loss to Pereira in their Oct. 2025 rematch.<\/p>\n<p>During his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Ulberg revealed what went wrong for him early in the title fight against Prochazka. Despite the adversity, Ulberg never wavered from the task at hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was my knee,\u201d Ulberg said. \u201cI blew out my knee, but I never ever counted myself out. I knew that all I needed was that one shot, and I ended up getting it. So, I knew that Jiri was hesitant to come forward and I soon as I land my left hand, he\u2019s going. I\u2019ve got to sort this knee out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the win, Ulberg has now improved his pro MMA record to 14-1. This is the first time he has won a major world championship in MMA. He also earned a \u201cPerformance of the Night\u201d bonus.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, there\u2019s no word on how severe the damage to Ulberg\u2019s knee is.
