Speaking to Peter Crouch on the latest episode of the former Liverpool striker\u2019s podcast<\/a>, Klopp reiterated his stance after being asked if he might soon announce his retirement.<\/p>\n\u201cNo, no, no, I obviously have to say not yet because I still have time since I heard Roy Hodgson is coming back,\u201d said the German, when asked about potentially returning to coaching in the future.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this moment, there is nothing. I love what I do. I\u2019m a busy man, which is good, because I\u2019m not good when I have nothing to do, to be honest.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can enjoy family, can enjoy spare time, go on holiday, but still work. At the moment, I miss nothing [about management].\u201d<\/p>\n
But according to Spanish journalist \u00c1ngel Torquemada, \u201cthere is a principle of agreement\u201d between Klopp and Anas Laghrari, a strategist working closely with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, for the German to become the club\u2019s next manager.<\/p>\n
After insisting his two sources are very reliable, Torquemada added: \u201cThe principle of agreement already has some foundations and they are conditions and demands that the German technician asks for. It would involve the incorporation of two contrasted defenders, two contrasting midfielders and Erling Haaland.\u201d<\/p>\n
A Spanish report carrying the quotes also claims that Klopp has stipulated that he\u2019s handed a similar level of responsibility beyond the pitch as he enjoyed at Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.<\/p>\n
\u2018He admires Real Madrid a lot, but if they don\u2019t let him work with total freedom, he will prefer to go to another project\u2019, the report concludes.<\/p>\n
