The fixtures, venues and kick-off times for the Investec Champions Cup semi-finals have been confirmed with Leinster Rugby, RC Toulon, Bath Rugby and Union Bordeaux Begles bidding to reach the final in Bilbao.<\/p>\n
Four teams remain in the running for the title<\/p>\n
Bath Rugby<\/a> were the first to book their place in the last-four of the tournament after a narrow 43-41 victory over Northampton Saints at The Rec on Friday evening. That came after last week\u2019s 31-22 win over Saracens in the last-16.<\/p>\n The win over the Saints, paired with defending champions Bordeaux\u2019s<\/a> 30-15 victory over six-time Champions Cup<\/a> winners Toulouse, means that Johann van Graan\u2019s charges will make the trip across the channel to tackle UBB at Stade Atlantique Bordeaux M\u00e9tropole on Sunday, May 3.<\/p>\n Bordeaux get home-ground advantage after rampaging through the pool stages and finishing as the top-seed club. They then made light work of Leicester Tigers in the round of 16, thrashing the PREM Rugby club 64-14 before earning a hard-fought victory over Toulouse.<\/p>\n The other semi-final sees Leinster<\/a>, who qualified as the third-ranked club from the pool stages, host seventh-seed RC Toulon at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday, May 2. The Irish province continues their chase of a fifth star, having finished as runners-up in 2022, 2023 and 2024 after they defeated Sale Sharks 43-13 in the quarter-finals and Edinburgh 49-31.<\/p>\n Leo Cullen\u2019s charges will be wary of the threat that two-time champions Toulon pose, however, as the Top 14 club were largely written off for their trip to Scotstoun Stadium but upset the odds to defeat the Glasgow Warriors 22-19.<\/p>\n Ranked 11th in the Top 14, Toulon have shifted their focus almost entirely on the Champions Cup, making them a real threat to Leinster\u2019s cause.<\/p>\n
