While Kala continues to offer high-performance music servers across multiple price points, Oladra has been developed from first principles as a dedicated platform, representing what the company describes as the most complete expression of its engineering approach to date.

At the core of the Oladra platform is a design philosophy centred on preserving signal integrity at the source. Rather than focusing on downstream correction, the platform aims to ensure that the digital signal is optimised at the point of creation, addressing factors such as electrical noise, timing relationships and system stability before the signal reaches the DAC.

A key technical development within the platform is the use of cascaded switch-mode power supplies, developed in place of traditional linear power supply designs. According to Antipodes Audio, this approach enables lower low-frequency noise, reduced magnetic interference and improved overall system performance, contributing to a more accurate and engaging musical presentation.

The Oladra range debuts with two models. The Presence, priced at £57,888 including VAT, and the Sentia, priced at £33,888 including VAT, both share the same underlying platform architecture. The Sentia is described as delivering a high level of performance at its price point, while the Presence represents a further step within the range.

Both models feature a simplified hardware approach, with a single optimised USB output and 4TB of built-in solid-state storage as standard. Additional outputs, including USB, S/PDIF and AES, as well as expanded storage options, are expected to be available via modular upgrades from June 2026.

The systems support a range of software protocols, including Squeeze, Roon and DLNA, and run on the Oladra Play software platform.

In terms of construction, each unit is precision-machined from a solid block of alloy, rather than assembled from multiple panels, reflecting a focus on structural integrity and design consistency.

The launch of Oladra builds on more than two decades of development by Antipodes Audio, with the company emphasising a long-term commitment to upgradeability and product support. Both models are supplied with a five-year warranty and are scheduled to ship from April 2026.

With the introduction of Oladra as a standalone brand, Antipodes Audio is formally dividing its offering into two distinct platforms, each with its own architecture, positioning and product roadmap.

The new products are available via Absolute Sounds in the UK.

New Zealand-based Antipodes Audio has developed its flagship Oladra platform into a distinct brand, introducing two new models:…

[6
64,63,105
0":"post-603918","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-technology","8":"tag-au","9":"tag-australia","10":"tag-technology
["GET
