This came after Williams decided to speak to Fox Sports\u2019 managing director, Steve Crawley, following Tallis\u2019 on-air criticism of the Broncos – instead of speaking directly to Tallis.<\/p>\n

Hinting that the Broncos leaked the altercation to the media, Tallis stated that he tried to squash it and had previously given handshakes to a number of individuals on the club\u2019s staff, including CEO Dave Donaghy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI tried to squash it because what they didn\u2019t talk about was I shook Dave Donaghy\u2019s hand. Dave Donaghy\u2019s been to my place. I\u2019ve opened my house to him and his family,\u201d the co-host added.<\/p>\n
\u201cI went and shook some board members\u2019 hands. That\u2019s what they don\u2019t talk about but then, because I walked past a guy who I don\u2019t have much respect for because of what he\u2019s done it seems to be a problem.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t do anything right in the Broncos eyes at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Co-host Braith Anasta added, \u201cThis is a bit of a storm in a teacup.\u201d<\/p>\n
Before Code Sports\u2019 Brent Read chimed in, \u201cIt\u2019s not that big of a deal. Obviously, they took offence and understand why Gordy didn\u2019t shake his hand. <\/p>\n
\u201cI wouldn\u2019t shake his hand either in that situation if I were Gordy but it\u2019s become a big deal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite previously playing for the Broncos, where he became an icon of the club, Tallis declared that he\u2019s paid for his opinion and will never shy away from commenting on the club\u2019s on-field or off-field dramas.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo the Broncos fans, I\u2019m talking to you. I spoke about a guy who got injured, came off and sat on television,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think that\u2019s the crime of the century and then I walked past a crisis manager because I didn\u2019t like that he\u2019d come to see my boss.<\/p>\n
This saw veteran journalist Dean Ritchie pose the question, \u201cDo you think your anti-Broncos stance will tarnish your legacy at the club.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve already taken it off. They can never take my memories away. No one can.
