Paris, France \u2013 Slovenian Tade Bogachar, rider of the Emirates XRG cycling team, came in second place in the Paris-Roubaix race. Which was held on Sunday, and is one of the most prominent classic bicycle races.<\/p>\n
The race title went to Belgian Wout van Aert, a cyclist for the \u201cVisma-Les a Paix\u201d team. Who overtook Pugachar in the final sprint race, sealed the victory after a volatile competition.<\/p>\n
The race witnessed strong participation from the Emirates XRG team, which imposed a high pace from the early stages. Which led to the reduction of the main group 150 kilometers before the finish line.<\/p>\n
Pugachar suffered a technical malfunction, including a hole in the front tire 120 kilometers before the end. This forced him to change bikes, before he put on a powerful 20-kilometre chase to return to the front of the race. This is before entering the famous Arenberg Forest section.<\/p>\n
With 54 kilometers to go, Pugachar and Van Aert launched a decisive attack, continuing their advance together until they entered the Robai track. Van Aert clinched the title in the final sprint race.<\/p>\n
The final results showed that Van Aert won first place with a time of 5:16:52 hours.
