One of the most significant additions is intravenous (IV) nutrient therapy, delivered in a dedicated IV suite within the clinic.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rather than offering standardized formulations, Dr. Esau ND says each IV is tailored to the individual.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t have blanket formulations,\u201d she says. \u201cAfter I meet with someone and take their full case, we customize it exactly to what that person needs and what their goals are.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
IV nutrient therapy allows nutrients to be delivered directly into the bloodstream, ensuring full absorption.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe nice thing is we can dose higher than we can through the oral route,\u201d Dr. Esau ND says. \u201cIt\u2019s very much individualized medicine.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
She hopes the expanded space will encourage more local residents to explore IV therapy locally instead of having to leave the region for health care.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
A supportive approach to cancer care\u00a0<\/p>\n
Dr. Esau ND is also expanding her work in naturopathic oncology, emphasizing that her role is supportive and collaborative.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t see it as either mainstream treatment or naturopathic care,\u201d she says. \u201cI see it as working together to help people have the best possible outcomes and quality of life.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Treatment goals may include supporting immune function, addressing inflammation, managing side effects and focusing on disease prevention in the years that follow treatment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another new offering is pelvic floor therapy, provided by a trained pelvic floor therapist who is also a registered nurse with eight years of\u00a0labour\u00a0and delivery experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe pelvic floor plays a critical role in bladder and bowel control, core stability,\u201d she says. \u201cWhen those muscles aren\u2019t functioning well, it can affect daily life more than people realize.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
For many, pelvic floor therapy is a key part of recovery after childbirth. For others, even in the absence of pregnancy and childbirth it may address pelvic pain, issues with sexual function, leakage, prolapse or challenges related to athletic strain, aging or chronic tension.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
In children, there are times that issues with bladder or bowel control are related to the muscles of the pelvic floor too\u00a0\u2013\u00a0working on muscle strength, and checking the nerve functioning can be helpful in solving the puzzle.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
