Jon Jones finds himself constantly lured back into the idea of fighting.<\/p>\n
Jones (28-1 MMA, 22-1 UFC) took umbrage with UFC CEO Dana White denying<\/a> that he was ever part of the promotion’s plans to compete at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14. The former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion said he felt low-balled<\/a> when he was offered “not a dollar more” than $15 million for a potential return fight against Alex Pereira<\/a>.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n “You know, I feel like I wanted to be compensated in a way that I wasn’t, and we just had a disagreement and that happens in life,” Jones told UFC Brasil<\/a>. “But you know what, I’m a big fan of Alex Pereira. I love the way he carries himself, he’s just such a classy fighter, potential opponent, person. Big fan of him.”<\/p>\n Jones went onto say that he’s a fighter no more<\/a>, but admits that was said out of emotion.<\/p>\n “I’m not sure if I’m retired or not,” Jones said. “I’m just taking it day by day, just trying to kind of figure out my body and how I feel, and things like that.
