A nine-strong ARA Australian Cycling Team has travelled to Hong Kong, China for the second UCI Track World Cup of 2026 this weekend.<\/p>\n
Racing begins on Friday for the green-and-gold, with our women’s team sprint starting our three-day campaign at Hong Kong Velodrome.<\/p>\n
Perth Track World Cup keirin winner Alessia McCaig continues her busy start to 2026 with a full program of racing, joined by fellow back-to-back team sprint Track Worlds bronze medallist Molly McGill and Paris Olympian Kristina Clonan.<\/p>\n
Clonan’s return to the Track World Cup infield is a welcome sight, with the Queenslander last racing internationally for Australia – aside from the Oceania Track Championships – at the Ballerup 2024 UCI Track World Championships.<\/p>\n
Completing the sprint portion of the squad is Leigh Hoffman, the sprint silver medallist and keirin bronze medallist a month ago in Perth, and Dubbo’s Danny Barber.<\/p>\n
Maeve Plouffe and Keira Will will share the endurance women’s bunch race program, as will Queenslanders Liam Walsh and Noah Blannin on the endurance men’s side.<\/p>\n
