Farmer David McMahon<\/a> and his wife Emily have welcomed a baby girl.<\/p>\n

The couple, who found love on season 13 of Channel 7\u2019s hit show Farmer Wants A Wife,<\/a> shared the happy news on Instagram, revealing their daughter Willa Mae McMahon was born on April 10.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo have you in our arms is an indescribable feeling \u2014 we love you,\u201d they wrote alongside sweet black-and-white photos of their newborn.<\/p>\n

The proud parents first announced they were expecting in October last year, sharing a photo of their two dogs beside a white baby onesie.<\/p>\n

\u201c2026 will be the greatest adventure yet!\u201d David wrote at the time. \u201cOur family is about to grow by two tiny feet.\u201d<\/p>\n

David and Emily fell in love on the reality show in 2023 and by October that same year they had announced their engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cIncredibly proud to announce, this Farmer has found his Wife,\u201d David captioned the post.<\/p>\n

A year later, on October 19, the couple tied the knot in the garden of David\u2019s family farm, surrounded by 220 loved ones.<\/p>\n

Wearing an ivory halter-neck gown by designer Milla Nova, Emily walked down the aisle to Florence and the Machine\u2019s version of Stand By Me, accompanied by both of her parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cStarting a family on the farm is definitely something we have talked about,\u201d David said at the time.<\/p>\n

Sparks began to fly early in the season for Emily and David and after weeks of getting to know each other in front of the camera, the finale episode saw David visit Emily\u2019s family in her hometown of Brisbane.<\/p>\n

For Emily\u2019s mum, the most important question was where \u201cDavid actually is at this point in his life,\u201d with the fourth-generation apple farmer showing no signs of leaving the farm life behind.<\/p>\n

Days after David declared his love for Emily on Farmer Wants a Wife, the couple spoke to 7NEWS and confirmed Emily had made the decision to move from her home in Brisbane to relocate to David\u2019s apple farm.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI was a little bit anxious that I really wanted to find, you know, my career and life here,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just used to my routine and I knew that was going to change but I was excited to get involved with the community here.\u201d<\/p>\n

David revealed once the cameras and crew were gone, they had to relearn to love each other in a natural environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that process is just as exciting as falling for each other on the show,\u201d he said at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think we ever could have expected to start something this amazing from a show which, you know, seems so distant at the very beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n
