Image: Speedshots Photography<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/speedcafe.com\/supercars-news-2026-historic-touring-cars-new-zealand-christchurch-ruapuna-entry-list-details-drivers-cars\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Murphy was named to race a Honda Accord in the John Fairhall Historic Touring Cars<\/a> and will also race in the Summerset GT New Zealand Championship.<\/p>\n<p>In the latter, he will share an Audi R8 with Grant Aitken.<\/p>\n<p>It marks a return to the GT4 saddle for Murphy, who raced with Aitken at Hampton Downs in the GT4 Australia season finale.<\/p>\n<p>Aitken is a New Zealand motorsport stalwart, having raced for more than 50 years in circuit racing and rally.<\/p>\n<p>He was also one of the founding members of Highlands Motorsport Park and was the architect of the famous Race to the Sky \u2013 New Zealand\u2019s own Pike Peak-style hillclimb.<\/p>\n<p>Murphy is one of four GT4 entries at the Christchurch Super440.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4cq9M8W\" style=\"color:#f06d25;\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Click here <\/a>to see what it takes to build the Gold Coast street circuit <\/p>\n<p>Allan Sargeant and William Exton will share a Toyota Supra, as will Glen Chappel and Lachlan Evennett. Image: Speedshots Photography<\/p>\n<p>The entry list for the GT New Zealand Championship season finale has reached 12 cars.<\/p>\n<p>A total of seven 992-spec Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars have been entered, headlined by Tony Quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Rick Armstrong will look to seal his third title. He holds a more than 100-point lead over Nigel Cromie.<\/p>\n<p>Other Porsche entries include veteran Sam Fillmore, Paul Kelly, Regan Scoullar, and Steve Brooks.
